If you are experiencing problems with editing a form in Microsoft Word, follow these steps to unlock it:
1. Click the Office Button (top, left corner)
2. Click “Word Options” at the very bottom, right of the drop-down box
3. Under the first tab on the right “Popular” - click “Show Developer tab in the Ribbon”
4. A new tab will appear above the top ribbon/bar called “Developer” - click there.
5. Click “Protect Document” and choose “Restrict formatting and edition” from the drop-down options
6. A “restrict Formatting and Editing” box will appear on the right side of your screen
7. Click the”Stop Protection” button at the very bottom of the box - your should now be able to edit your form
