Public printing environments require that each print job be released so that individuals may review and confirm the jobs being sent (and their associated cost, if applicable).
Releasing print jobs has been necessary for several semesters in the interest of reducing printouts for positive environmental (“green”) impact , however please be aware that printing policies have changed as of August, 2011.
